This strong willed Midwest songbird  embodies timeless influences that ring out beautifully in her highly nuanced Neo-Traditionalist Country songs. Kelly Steward is a classic singer-songwriter in the vein of Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Shelby Lynne and Tift Merritt, and like many singer-songwriters, the trials of life serve as passionate inspiration for Kelly’s songs.  Back in the Middle of America after a few storied years in Los Angeles, Kelly recorded her EP “Long Long Road” with producer/musician Miles Nielsen .  “Long Long Road” has received much praise all over the world from the U.S. to Europe.  Currently she is working on a second EP called “Out From Within”, an intimate piece of work to be released in April 2012 to be followed by her first full length album with her band The Restless Kind due to be released in the Fall of 2012.
